Outlook for iOS can now protect your emails with your fingerprint

Protecting your phone from prying eyes with your fingerprint is great. Now you can keep your emails locked up and secure, too.

A new update to Microsoft's Outlook app, arguably the best email app for iOS, now lets users protect their emails with their fingerprints using iOS devices equipped with a Touch ID sensor.

You can set up Touch ID protection by going into the app's Settings and scrolling down to Preferences. Flip the toggle for "Require Touch ID" to on and you're ready to go.

The next time you launch Outlook, it'll ask you to authenticate with your fingerprint before it'll let you read your emails. Read more...
