That's the central focus of an award winning new short science fiction film titled The iMom, in which a mother leaves her children alone with the robot nanny, at which point things get pretty dark

Directed by Ariel Martin, the 12-minute film will make you think about what it really means to give control over to a machine, a decision many of us are increasingly facing as automated systems become integral parts of our lives
