New rumors point to ultra-thin iPhone 7, 12-megapixel iPad camera

With the (rumored) Apple March event fast approaching, the ever-active Apple rumor mill is turning into a news-churning frenzy. 

The two latest reports, courtesy of 9to5Mac and Japan's Macotakara, bring to light a (possible) new form factor for the iPhone 7 and a new, improved camera on the (possibly) upcoming 9.7-inch iPad Pro. 

The iPhone 7 — which is expected to be shown in the fall rather than in March — will be a full 1mm thinner than the iPhone 6S, which would bring it to a razor-thin 6.1mm. It might also have a thinner Lightning port — not a different design, mind you, only a smaller cutout in the case.  Read more...
