A company says Apple stole its patents for 3D Touch and Force Touch

Apple is in the hot seat once again in a patent infringement case.

A haptic technology company has filed a series of complaints against Apple for infringing on patents related to the 3D Touch and Force Touch technology used on Apple devices.

The company, Immersion, said in a press release that it filed the infringement complaints against Apple and AT&T over three of its patents linked to haptic feedback. Immersion alleges that the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus and Apple Watch used its patented technologies in their touch systems, including vibration feedback for different touches and previews of actions at a light touch.
