Facebook's Android app levels up privacy features with Tor support

Privacy conscious Android users now have a new, extra secure, way to use Facebook

Facebook's Android app now supports browsing via Tor, the social network announced Tuesday. The feature, which is still in an experimental stage, allows you to encrypt your browsing activity while using Facebook's Android app.

Facebook first rolled out support for Tor in 2014, but it only supported the feature via browser. With Tuesday's update, you can now use Tor directly from the Android app
