Google Doodle honors Beethoven's 245th year with a musical game

No one can ever do what Beethoven did, but today, you can replicate his talent as a composer in a very small way.

Google is paying tribute to Ludwig van Beethoven on Thursday by turning the Google Doodle into a musical game. No one's sure of the artist's exact birthday, but Dec. 17 marks the 245th anniversary of his baptism.

The Google Doodle is a game that tests your listening and music skills. In each of the four levels, you're given multiple sheets of music, which you have to rearrange into the correct order of the song. The compositions include some of his best known, including "Fifth Symphony," "Für Elise," "Moonlight Sonata" and "Ninth Symphony (Ode to Joy)". Read more...
