Inside Apple's redesigned campus store in Cupertino

CUPERTINO, Calif. — Even Apple employees wait in line to get into an Apple Store sometimes. It's a Friday afternoon and I'm outside an Apple Store next to a line of people that stretches out far enough that I can't quite make out the end.

While crowds outside Apple Stores are nothing new, this line at the company headquarters is comprised entirely of Apple employees who are queued up in the 85-degree sun to get a first look at the newly redesigned company store.

The store, which has been closed for some time while undergoing renovations, reopens to the public Saturday morning. The opening also marks the first time the company is selling iPhones, Apple Watches and iPads in the store. Read more...
