Periscope now offers landscape support

Periscope is getting turned on its head.

Live streaming app Periscope announced it is now offering landscape support for its live video streams, in a blog post Thursday. Landscape broadcasting and viewing is enabled in the latest Periscope update for iOS and Android.

Since Periscope launched this past March, only portrait video has been supported. If a user was streaming in landscape, the video could only be viewed on a small portion of the screen
