Step Right Up to See the World's First Elephant Selfie

Out in the West Midlands Safari Park in Worcestshire, England, one of the parks' residents took the very first "elfie" — you know, an elephant selfie.

Latabe the elephant snatched up a dropped cellphone and took a very flattering photograph of himself grazing in his enclosure, the BBC reported. The phone belonged to Scott Brierley, 23, who was taking photos inside the park when he accidentally dropped his phone next to the African elephant enclosure. After Brierley was told to not exit his car, the elephant took ahold of his phone (presumably, he thought it was food), and in doing so, managed to capture quite the self-portrait. Read more...
