'Game of Thrones' Easter Egg Hatches in Google Maps

Google's latest easter egg is a subtle nod to Game of Thrones enthusiasts

When travelers use Google Maps to search for directions from Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, to Brecon Beacons in South Wales, they are given an option for dragon travel

Apparently, the 122-mile journey would take a short 21 minutes atop one of the winged beasts

Unfortunately, dragon travel is only open to those in Wales, because these dragons also need time to take over King's Landing. It seems Google may have picked Wales as the location, not because the country's resemblance to Westeros, but because the Welsh flag boasts a fiery-red dragon.
