Netflix Nabs 3 Nominations for TCA Awards

In only its second year competing for award recognition from the Television Critics Association, Netflix has snagged three nominations for the 30th TCA Awards.

Netflix's comedic prison comedy Orange Is the New Black earned nods for Program of the Year and Outstanding New Program for its inaugural season, while season two of political thriller House of Cards nabbed an Outstanding Achievement in Drama nomination.

Orange Is the New Black, whose sophomore season will debut in full on June 6, ended 2013 as Netflix's most-watched original series ever. Meanwhile, Taylor Schilling's portrayal of imprisoned lead character Piper earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Drama, though she lost to Robin Wright of House of Cards.
