Bryan Singer, Other Defendants Want Sex Abuse Lawsuit Dismissed

On the eve of the launch of X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer and other defendants are seeking the dismissal of a sexual abuse lawsuit, saying they have evidence to show they weren't even in the state of Hawaii at the time when Michael Egan claims he was assaulted there.

Singer, whose latest X-Men film opens worldwide Friday, filed a motion for dismissal Wednesday night in Hawaii federal court. According to the filing, Egan said in a sworn deposition in 2003 that he and Singer were never together in the state, where Egan now says he was abused as a teen in 1999.
