Stephen Sutton, Cancer Victim and Philanthropist, Dies at 19

Stephen Sutton, a teenage cancer victim who raised more than $5 million for charity died on Wednesday, his family has announced on Facebook

Sutton, 19, was battling bowel cancer and raised money through his Teenage Cancer Trust

In April, Sutton posted a message on Facebook, saying goodbye to his friends and family and thanking everyone for their support.

His condition deteriorated on Tuesday, and he was readmitted to the hospital due to regrowth of tumors, which have been blocking his airways. “Unfortunately in the last 24 hours Stephen's condition has deteriorated to where he can no longer communicate through this page himself," Stephen's family wrote on Facebook Read more...
