The Cutest Grandma on Instagram Is Battling Cancer With 86,000 Friends

Instagram loves Betty Simpson.

The 80-year-old great-grandmother collected more than 86,000 followers after her great-grandson Zach Belden started an account for her in January as a way to support Simpson's battle with cancer.

Simpson refers to her supportive followers — including Pharrell Williams, who saw her bustin' a move to his hit song "Happy" — as "friends."

Fans leave Grandma Betty lots of love in the form of Likes and encouraging words.
