Fake Banksy Tricks New Yorkers With Impostor Artwork

The Banksy hype enveloping New York City has amateur art collectors on edge.

Earlier this month, famous street artist Banksy effectively trolled New Yorkers by setting up a stall in Central Park and selling his coveted paintings for just $60 (they've previously sold for upwards of $500,000)

Banksy had only three buyers over several hours, making just $420. But the entire endeavor created a media storm and has prompted New Yorkers to constantly be on the lookout for similar Banksy stunts
