WikiLeaks: Missing Edward Snowden Is 'in a Safe Place'

over the weekend, NSA leaker and whistleblower Edward Snowden went missing. But according to WikiLeaks' Julian Assange, he's "in a safe place."

"We are aware of where Mr. Snowden is. He's in a safe place, and his spirits are high," said Assange during a press call on Monday morning, confirming his legal team's role in helping the former intelligence contractor. Assange, however, refused to reveal Snowden's specific whereabouts, only adding that he's in a third country, on his way to Ecuador, where he requested asylum
