Instagram's Kevin Systrom Cancels Cannes Appearance

CANNES, FRANCE — Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom has canceled his appearance at this week's Cannes Lions advertising festival

A rep for the festival said Systrom actually canceled about a month ago; however, he still appears on the event's website. The Instagram co-founder was scheduled to give a talk called "Facebook: Creative Revolution: Rich Content..." with Facebook product manager Justin Shaffer.

Facebook will still be represented at the show. Mark D'Arcy, the social network's director of global, is set to host a seminar on Tuesday called "Creativity at Scale." David Droga, founder of ad agency Droga5 and Andrew Bosworth, Facebook's director of engineering, will also join him
