Japanese ecommercce giant Rakuten is making a acquisition of a US-based company today-Webgistix, a logistics and services company specializing in fulfillment technology for e-commerce retailers. The acquisition is Rakutens second logistics investment outside of Japan. Financial terms of the deal were not being disclosed at the time.
