'Unnecessary Quotes' Mocks the Best Punctuation Fails
Punctuation is hard, we get it. There are commas, and semi-colons and colons — sometimes there are even brackets, slashes and parentheses. It's a lot to wrap your head around, but sadly, punctuation is here to stay
There seems to be one particular form of punctuation that is plaguing sign-makers worldwide: the elusive quotation marks. Two simple lines floating in mid-air have "brought thousands to their knees." Apparently, it is just "too hard" to figure out when it is appropriate to use a pair
