Rovio Will Deliver 'Angry Birds' Cartoon Through Its Games

Fans of Angry Birds will be able to consume the cartoon version through any of the Angry Birds games they already own starting this weekend

Rovio announced Monday that Angry Birds Toons, the company's foray into animation, will be available not just online, as previously stated, but on television stations around the world, connected TV devices and through its games.

Anyone who already has any Rovio game, such as Bad Piggies, Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars, will see a new "Channels" button appear March 17 on the game's homescreen after they've installed an update. Rovio says its games have been installed 1.7 billion times, giving them quite a viewership base for the cartoon.
