Nintendo Teases Wind Waker HD, New Zelda and Mario Kart

Nintendo made several big announcements during its livestreamed presentation Wednesday morning, but the most exciting to fans were related to the Legend of Zelda franchise.

First, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced GameCube's Wind Waker would get an HD remake for the Wii U, out this fall.

Second, Iwata announced Nintendo was working on a new Legend of Zelda game for the Wii U. While he was coy on the details, he said this title would "break conventions" of the series, including traditional dungeon order and the single player experience.
