Burberry Teaser Ad Catapults Romeo Beckham to Twitter Fame

Romeo Beckham, the 10-year-old son of football star David Beckham and designer Victoria Beckham, is making his modeling debut in Burberry's Spring/Summer 2012 campaign, the British design house announced Monday.

The casting announcement lit up Twitter, briefly becoming a worldwide trending topic late Monday morning. It is still trending in the UK as of publication time.

The above video, which features campaign co-stars Edie Campbell and Charlie France, was released in conjunction with the announcement. The campaign itself will be revealed "across the brands online and offline platforms throughout the season," per a company statement.
