Will T-Mobile Finally Get the iPhone Next Week?

T-Mobile USA may finally get the iPhone next week, at least according to one analyst.

In a research note Thursday (via Fortune), Merrill Lynch analyst Scott Craig says "speculation is heightening" that T-Mobile's parent company Deutsche Telekom will announce plans to carry the devicean analyst event next week.

While Verizon, AT&T and Sprint all support the iPhone, T-Mobile has been left out because the carrier's HSPA networks doesn't support the iPhone. In recent months, however, T-Mobile has upgraded its networks in 15 cities to be compatible with the iPhone, though it still has many more areas that have yet to be upgraded.
