Sinofsky Says He Never Made a Windows Power Grab

Steven Sinofsky, Microsoft's now deposed head of all things Windows, is not going so quietly into that good night. The ex-Microsoftie took to a blog written by another former Microsoft exec to set the record straight on just how much power he pursued.

Ever since Sinofsky's abrupt departure from Microsoft on Monday, pundits and industry insiders have all tried to figure out why he left. Most point to Sinofsky's hard-nosed style and some fundamental disagreements with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
