Spectacular HD Farewell to Space Shuttle Endeavour [VIDEO]

The space shuttle Endeavours journey to retirement continued this week, when a specially outfitted Boeing 747 transported the winged spacecraft to Los Angeles International Airport.

Photographer and director Vincent Laforet captured beautiful HD footage of the shuttles landing at LAX.

The Endeavour farewell tour takes a two-week break at the airports United Airlines hangar, before making its way through the streets of Los Angeles on Oct. 12. The shuttles final destination will be the California Science Center.
