Loud Music Through Earbuds Can Cause Temporary Deafness [STUDY]


In the latest studies, researchers have looked at how listening to music through earbuds can be harmful to the listener. The University of Leicester found that by turning the volume up too loudly, you can cause temporary deafness by damaging the nerve cells in the ear.

Many music players can reach levels comparable to that of a jet engine. It is known that noises above 110 decibels can cause hearing problems, including ringing of the ears or temporary deafness -- what you may experience after attending a particularly loud concert.
