Parks and Recreation, Battlestar Galactica Coming to Amazon Prime Instant Video


AmazonSubscribers to Amazon's $79-per-year Prime service now have free, online streaming access to past seasons of Parks and Recreation, Battlestar Galactica, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights and Heroes, thanks to an expanded licensing agreement with NBCUniversal.

The agreement brings Amazon's Prime Instant Video catalog to 22,000, up from 18,000 in June.

Amazon's last streaming deal was signed with ESPN earlier this week. The company also has licensing deals with Discovery, Fox, CBS, NBC, MGM, Sony and Warner Bros., among others.
