Extended Trailer for the Wachowskis Cloud Atlas Hits the Web

An extended trailer for the Wachowski brothers' new film Cloud Atlas has hit the web.

Based on the 2004 novel of the same name, the film features an ensemble cast, including Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Sturgess, Keith David, Susan Sarandon and Hugh Grant.

Warner Bros. describes the film as "an exploration of how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future."

The Wachowski's -- best known for The Matrix trilogy -- along with Tom Tykwer adapted the story for the screen and directed the film.
