According to Apple's Q3 filing, OS X Mountain Lion will be released to the public tomorrow, July 25. The OS improves on the current version, Lion, by adding iOS-like notifications as well as improvements like Game Center and tweaks to the Mail app.Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote: Were thrilled with record sales of 17 million iPads in the June quarter. Weve also just updated the entire MacBook line, will release Mountain Lion tomorrow and will be launching iOS 6 this Fall. We are also really looking forward to the amazing new products weve got in the pipeline.
