Are You a Data Innovator? DARPA Wants You




The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the agency that launched the Internet, is calling for "radical" innovators to be part of its Innovation House Study program.

The focus of the program is on visual and geospatial data analysis. Select teams will be given $50,000 in funding.

"Researchers will participate in a short-fuse, crucible-style environment to invent new approaches to the identification of people, places, things and activities from still or moving defense and open-source imagery," the agency says in a press release.
