New York City Rocks Social Media Day 2012 with GZAThe Genius

Hundreds of guests turned out for Mashable's third-annualSocial Media Day celebration in New York City on Saturday. The sold-out event was hosted at the Canal Room and featured networking, dancing and, most importantly, commemorating the importance of social media in the world today.

Mashable staff and fans were amped up with beats from DJ Choco and went crazy for special musical guest GZA/The Genius, of Wu Tang. GZA's son, Young Justice, joined his dad on stage for the second half of the performance.
