Mashable community members around the world gathered Saturday to celebrate our third-annual Social Media Day. With hundreds of local events and thousands of attendees, the day was a win for all.

From day-long conferences to nighttime networking parties, people recognized the digital revolution in a variety of ways. But all events had one thing in common: celebrating online communities offline.
