Google Confirms Jelly Bean Platform By Adding Delicious Statue to Campus Lawn

In the hours leading up to the Google I/O developer conference, the search engine giant has added a statue of jelly beans to its campus lawn -- a move that officially confirms its next-generation Android mobile operating system will be called "Jelly Bean."

Google, which posted a picture of the statue to its Google Developers Google+ page on Tuesday, is gearing up to host its developer conference where a collection of new products and news will likely come out of the event, including details about the latest version of Android.
