No More Beating Around The Bush At Yahoo: Thompson Is Out, Levinsohn In As CEO, Effective Immediately
Yahoo has now officially confirmed the news we reported earlier: Ross Levinsohn is now interim Chief Executive Officer, replacing Scott Thompson, and Fred Amoroso is chairman of the board.Scott Thompson's departure and the reasons for it are not mentioned at all in the statement, which simply says he has left the company.
