Choose your journey

In my first post, i decided write about my journey in the programming. For many people, programming is very hard or think that you will never become a good programmer. Is there a magic formula to become a good programmer?

In the start of my career i worked with tech support, i discover the universe of hardware, how every components work, how the operational system is integrated with hardware, how use linux to do backup in the servers, entering the server rooms (which were too cold kkkkk). Started my carrer by infraestruture, gived me foundation to go for programming, i grateful Lin and Ezequiel to show me the Linux, helped me a lot in programming.

Since 2017, i work with programming, i started with Java and your frameworks, on the university i did computer enginner, the programming i learning on online courses, groups of study, i participated in many initiatives that taught programming to help you get your first job as a programmer. I had few projects with frontend. Now i focus in become a fullstack.

On every my journey with programmer, i never find a magic formula, i too had scary in the start but i organized for my goal. Honestly, was the best thing i ever did, which was to create a roadmap (I writed in the paper). First, i create with the following logic:

-> Hardware

• S.O (Types of S.O)
• RAM/DISK
• Servers
• HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/SSL/TLS/SSH
• Virtual Machines
• Load Balance.......(the list was endless)-> Software
• Programming Logic
• Programming Languages
• Relational Databases
• HTML/CSS
• REST/SOAP.......(the list was endless)

I put so many things in the paper, things i did not need to look first but it worked. After, i discover roadmap.sh, brought more security where i should go.

If you is starting now, i recommend see the roadmap.sh, create your portfolio, join in programming communities, share new thinks in the communities, i am sure that by organizing your studies and day to day programming the magic will happen!!
