The Best Resources For Web Developers

Some people prefer to pay for courses or boot camps to gain new knowledge as a developer. In my opinion, there are plenty of free resources. In this article, I will share my favorite resources which I use to learn something new or solve problems.

Youtube

In most cases, I prefer to watch videos to learn new technology, solve a problem, be up to date with new trends, etc.

Traversy Media

One of the best Youtube channels, that I have ever seen. Explains the most important while coding. Very informative and straight to the point. One of the last videos, that I watched was the "TypeScript Crash Course". The video helped me understand the main concepts of TS and how to start using it. Still continue watching the "Laravel From Scratch 2022 | 4+ Hour Course".

Web Dev Simplified

In most cases watch for interview questions and new CSS, JS, React, TS tips. Most videos are shorter compared to the previous channel. I would recommend it for front-end developers. Because most content is for front-end developers and is easy to follow. Ofcourse there are videos about node js, MongoDB, Redis, etc. Personally, I love this channel for front-end content.

Applicable Programming

For people who want to learn PHP + OOP with real-life examples. Also, talks a lot about design patterns.

Dani Krossing

The most beginner-friendly OOP PHP tutorial, that I have ever seen.

For People Who Prefer Read

Stackoverflow

Do not imagine my life without this one. In most cases, helps when a problem occurs I can always find a solution here. Important to remember the first comment with an answer is not always the right one.

Daily dev

I use a daily dev browser extension to change my default home page. It allows me to follow new trends and technologies more effectively.

For Writers, Readers

Dev to, Hashnode, and Medium. For me all three of them are great. Try by yourself and share Your own experience.

FreeCodeCamp

Has own platform with different tasks for front-end and back-end developers. Great to start learning. Moreover, it will fit for everyone, including article readers and people who prefer learning by watching videos.
