Where to watch Apple's iPhone 14 event

Apple’s about to show off some new iPhones. You better make sure you know where to be when that happens.

On Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, Tim Cook and co. will regale us with news about the latest developments in the Apple ecosystem. And you’ll be able to watch it live in a few different places.

Everywhere you can watch Apple's event

First up is Apple’s website, which is to be expected. Show up there on time (or get there slightly early for some easy listening muzak) and you’ll be good to go. Apple always suggests using Safari, its in-house browser, if you plan on watching through the Apple website. So go ahead and dig through your applications folder to find it. It may even need a reinstall. No judgment from us either way.

If you want to watch on your TV, you can also stream the event live from the Apple TV app. That way, you can enjoy Tim Cook in all his glory, and if we get lucky, we might even get some new Craig Federighi fits to analyze.

And finally, you can watch the event on Apple’s official YouTube channel on pretty much any device, including a TV. This is good for folks who don't want to install the Apple TV app, or who get a jolt of adrenaline out of using a Google service to watch an Apple event. It feels good to be bad, folks.

It’s a virtual certainty that Apple will show off the iPhone 14 at this event and we expect four phones this time around, just like last year. But don’t be surprised if a new Apple Watch (or three) shows up, too.

Just make sure your finances are in order if you’re the type to rush to the pre-order page after every Apple event.
