Smartphone Market Continues To Tumble, Shipments Decline 9%
The global smartphone market continues to tumble in 2022. According to research firm Canalys, smartphone shipments dropped nine percent year-on-year (YoY) in the second quarter of this year. The firm reported an 11 percent YoY decline in shipments in the first quarter. Canalys is attributing this decline to “economic headwinds, sluggish demand and inventory pileup”. [...]
