Walmart isn't having an official sale event, but its deals still rival Prime Day

Here are the best Walmart deals to rival Prime Day discounts as of July 11:

Walmart technically had their competing Prime Day sales event — Walmart+ Weekend — in the beginning of June, so you might be wondering if they're doing yet another sales event to compete with Amazon. The answer is yes, but also no, but also kind of.

Walmart isn't having a "formal" deals events for July 12 and 13, but that doesn't mean there isn't a Prime Day response. The big-box retailer is currently focusing on expanded rollbacks, offering discounts on nearly every category. According to a Walmart spokesperson, Walmart is offering "thousands of rollbacks this summer," including a host of new deals that will be rolling out right before Prime Day. Coincidence?

Sure, there might not be a fancy name for this sale, but we're anticipating some serious competitive deals from the mega retailer come Amazon's birthday. Call it what you want, Walmart, but if it sounds like Prime Day competition and it looks like Prime Day competition...

We've seen some reporting saying that this new Walmart strategy is a way to get rid of high inventory, as many big-box retailers (including Target) have been dealing with a number of inventory issues, mostly having to deal with supply-chain bottlenecks and reduced customer spending as inflation surges. While Target and Walmart are dealing with similar issues, Walmart's anti-deals deals event is the opposite of Target's planned 72-hour Deal Days event. Only time will tell which retailer has the bigger, better sale.

Of course, Walmart already has plenty of products market down to low prices. We've scoured the site and marked some of our favorites below. We'll be updating this page constantly, so check back often. All newly added deals are marked with a ✨, while deals with a strikeout were either sold out or no longer available at their sale price when we last looked. Anything marked with a 🔥has dropped to an all-time low price.

This Apple Watch model was sitting at $30 off for quite a while until Walmart took the plunge ahead of Prime Day and dropped it down to $149. The same watch is only available at Amazon for over $200 new, so you'd be better off snagging it from Walmart.

The Apple Watch Series 3 is a solid starter smartwatch, offering activity tracking, workout tracking, heart rate monitoring, and notifications through your phone. It lacks some of the bells and whistles of later models, but would be ideal for someone looking for simple fitness tracking.
