Michigan Gov. candidate says the "bible should be the basic textbook" in schools then gets stumped

In an interview (video below), candidate for Michigan Governor, Pastor Ralph Rebandt, said "The bible should be the basic textbook and scripture, I mean in schools." Yes, he did.
