Why I chose Software Engineering.

In the start of my journey with computers and growing up with them I always found myself wanting more. Wanting to be able to make something of my own. Whether it be my own website or be my application. To build something that makes my experience unique. I have always found the drive to learn something new to be quite intriguing, but the drive and motivation to learn something like coding just always hit a sweet spot for me. Recently I have found myself at a job in IT. Learning all the innerworkings behind Virtual Machines and other things like networking has made me want even more. Which makes coding so much more intriguing and driven to learn more. To learn things like automation and how to do something like center a div.

While signing up for Flatiron Schooling, I did start to have second thoughts of self-doubt. Making myself think I was not ready to follow the dream I have to make my mark in the industry and do my best to succeed in the Software Engineering world. Over the course of the start of my time at Flatiron, I have come full circle and found that even at the lowest of moments the people and support at Flatiron have helped find that perfect equilibrium of School and life.
