The Odyssey was played on the first gaming console named Magnavox Odyssey but Computer Space become the first commercially sold coin-operated video game and after that many people started developing and selling video games and after so many years we saw some of the popular games like GTA V Watch Dog 2 and more among us.

As the name suggests game development means developing games. There are a variety of games in this world action, sports, fighting, and many more. For developing such games you need a game engine but we will talk about it in detail later. But all of these games also come in two types paid and free and in this type, there is one type in which both free and paid games come which is called devices there are four major devices for these games PCs, tablets, gaming consoles like PlayStation, XBOX, Nintendo Switch, and many more consoles are there in the market and the last but not the least mobile devices and both free and paid games make money by launching their games on these devices but if you are wondering that how do these companies like Ubisoft, Rockstar and individuals like Dani make money by developing their own games then we will talk about it later. But the main question is which is the best device for developing games then according to popularity and demand. I will recommend creating free games for mobile because most people don't have PCs and they are still dependant on mobile devices and they especially play free games like PUBG (Player's Unknown Battlegrounds) and Free Fire. These types of games are not even popular on mobile but also on one of your favorite devices like tablets, PCs. The best example is Fortnite and Geneshin Impact. And the last main factor is that they are different stores for different devices to launch your games like for mobile devices there is Google Play Store, APKPURE, Aptoide, and more. For PCs, there is Steam and Epic Games Store and for tablets like iPad, you can publish your game on App Store.
