We'll continue to update this post as more deals pop up, but don't hold out too long if something on your shopping list is enjoying a discount —it may not be in stock for much longer thanks to the ongoingsupply chain messthat's clearing inventories and putting products on backorder.

The best Cyber Monday deals at each retailer

Amazon

Amazon's Cyber Monday sale actually kicked off on Nov. 27, a full two days early, because apparently nothing is sacred anymore. (Just like on Black Friday, its own Alexa-enabled devices are clearly the stars of the show —we're seeing almost everyFire tabletconfiguration on sale, plus tons of markdowns onKindles,Ring video doorbells, andEcho Showsmart displays.) Its inventory changes pretty frequently, so check back often —you can find out what's up for grabs by visiting itsCyber Monday Deals page, installing its mobile app, or by asking your smart home device, “Alexa, what are my deals?" Like in previous years, it pays to be an Amazon Prime member: Subscribers get 30-minute early access to select Lightning Deals, which go quick once they're live;click hereto sign up for a free 30-day trial.

Walmart

Not to be outdone by Amazon, Walmart also got a jump on Cyber Monday and released all of its online-exclusive Deals for Days doorbusters ahead of the fact. Best Buy

The electronics store's official Cyber Monday sale began in the late hours of Black Friday (which kind of tracks, considering its Black Friday sale started a whole week early on Friday, Nov. 19). Anything you purchase between now and Jan. 2 can be returned anytime until Jan. 16 as part of its extended holiday return policy.

Target

The bullseye brand's two-day Cyber Monday sale picked up right where its weeklong Black Friday sale left off on Sunday, Nov. 28 — stop by to save up to 60% on video games, up to 50% on headphones, and up to $60 onApple Watches and AirPods. Keep in mind that Target's holiday price match policy is now in effect through Dec. 24; you can also take advantage of two new "buy now, pay later" payment options through Sezzle and Affirm.

Bed Bath & Beyond

BB&B also dove head-first into Cyber Monday on Nov. 28 after its Black Friday sale —you can save up to 50% on select kitchen gear, get up to 35% off select vacuums, and score discounts as high as 60% on home decor now through Tuesday, Nov. 30. (As an extra treat, you'll also get $100 in rewards if you spend at least $300 on a single order in stores or online through Dec. 1.)

HP

The techies over at HP have rolled their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals intoone big ol' salefrom Nov. 25 to Nov. 29 (its "biggest savings event of the year," per thead scan), which plunges prices on computer software, gaming peripherals, andtonsof Windows 11 PCs.

JCPenney

The department store was the last major retailer to switch into Cyber Monday mode (it actually waited until the day of —imagine that), but we'll cut it some slack: Its sale extends some of its best Black Friday deals, including $8kitchen appliances(with mail-in rebates), up to 40% offDisney toys, and as much as 60% off selectmattresses.

Kohl's

Kohl's is hosting five consecutive Cyber Deal Days from Nov. 27 through Dec. 1, but if nothing else, make sure you swing by today: Its 24-hour "Super Cyber Monday" sale features cheap Fitbits, heavily discounted Ninja appliances, steep Google Nest savings, and the return of its excellent $15 for $50 Kohl’s Cash deal from Black Friday. (It actually manages to beat some of Amazon's discounts on its own devices with this offer.) Kohl's Reward members also get an extra $10 off any purchase of $50 or more with the promo code KOHLS10 —click here to enroll for free.

Macy's

The mall stalwart's two-day Cyber Monday sale on Nov. 28 and 29 brings super steep savings across every department, though its kitchen and cookware deals are especially juicy —see above. Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday— what's the difference?

The National Retail Federation officiallycoinedthe term "Cyber Monday" in 2005 after it noticed that in previous years, the Monday after Thanksgiving saw a massive uptick in online sales. It credited the phenomenon to two factors: Online retailers were starting to vie for a piece of the Black Friday pie, and shoppers were waiting to peruse the deals on their faster work computers come Monday morning. (At the time, office PCs had better broadband than home setups.)

Last year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales effectively bled together since in-person shopping wasn't really a thing and we're absolutely seeing that repeat this year as well.

Shipping delays and supply chain chaos

The global economy is grappling with some unprecedentedsupply chain challengesas the result of theDelta variant, which continues to inflame pandemic-related material scarcities, labor shortages, and shipping bottlenecks across industries of all kinds. (Under circumstances absolutely no one had on their bingo card, picklesandpaper bagshave gotten as elusive asPlaystation 5s.)

Unsurprisingly, the ordeal left most major manufacturers and retailers scrambling ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Amazon triedlure inan extra 150,000 seasonal employees with the promise of $3,000 sign-on bonuses and higher pay for certain shifts, whileWalmart, Home Depot, and Ikea all went so far as tocharter private cargo shipsto make sure their shelves were stocked for the season. Apple, meanwhile, was "predicting that we're going to be short of demand by larger than $6 billion" heading into the holidays, CEO Tim Cook said in a recent interview withReuters.

For us consumers, this all means that finding the best deals this season will be an ongoing issue of availability. As Canalys analystRunar Bjørhovdewrote in an email to Mashable: "It will be very possible to buy devices, it’s more of a question to what cost and when." (Read more about supply chain issues.)
