Best Buy is starting its Black Friday sale next week, because screw the calendar

Best Buy is throwing out the Black Friday playbook.

The electronics retailer announced Thursday that it will have Black Friday deals available multiple times throughout the holiday season, starting with a four-day sale running Tuesday, Oct. 19 through Friday, Oct. 22. It also plans on kicking off its official sale a week early on Nov. 19. (Deep breaths.)

What's more, all deals will be covered by a new "Black Friday Price Guarantee" that prevents prices from dropping lower before the big day — so you know you're getting the best deal possible no matter when you shop.

Next week's initial sale will feature hundreds of markdowns on "the season's hottest tech," including:

• $550 for a Samsung 70-inch 4K Smart TV, a $150 savings

• $169 for the matte black Beats Studio 3 headphones, a $180 savings

• Chromebooks as cheap as $99

• Windows laptops as cheap as $189.99

• Discounts of up to $540 on Samsung appliances
