Jim Carroll is one of my favorite poets. Watch him read a poem
"For Elizabeth" is a two-and-a-half minute video, shot in black and white, of Jim Carroll (one of my all time heroes) reading some of his poetry.
This video was directed by Jesse Dylan and shown at Lollapalooza in 1993.
Carroll is best known for his 1978 autobiography, The Basketball Diaries, and his band, The Jim Carroll Band. — Read the rest
