Some Lian Li Uni Fan SL120 Affected by Defective LEDs, Company Offers Replacements
Lian Li on Monday disclosed that some batches of its Uni Fan SL120 units are affected by defective LEDs. While this defect does not contribute to a safety hazard, it affects quality, and is spread across a fairly big batch. Uni Fan SL120 manufactured between December 2020 and March 2021 are likely to come with a faulty blue LED lighting IC that makes the blue component of the RGB LED deteriorate over time, resulting in dimmer LEDs. When set to white, the RGB LED has a yellowish coloration from the dimmer blue component.
