Samsung's MWC event will be about the future of smartwatches
Samsung, like so many other tech giants, isn't physically attending this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, but the company will have a virtual event.
The company announced Monday that its Samsung Galaxy session will be on June 28, where it will showcase "how the Galaxy ecosystem of connected devices is set to provide people with even greater possibilities for enriching their lifestyles."
In particular, Samsung will be "sharing its vision for the future of smartwatches," which might be very interesting given that Google has recently partnered with Samsung to combine its Wear OS smartwatch platform with Samsung's Tizen into a new OS called Wear.
