I had a blast during my previous hackathon, which was DEV x Twilio hackathon, so I've decided to give my best shot for DEV x DigitalOcean hackathon, too.

I'm doing it solo, so It's more of a challenge for me this time. I'll have to do the design, development, and brainstorming all on my own. But I feel confident that I'll be able to do it well and improve in the process.

In any case, I will have fun and create something awesome in the next few weeks.

The idea

So I've been throwing some ideas around, but I've decided to go with an idea that is close to my heart. Basically, I'm developing an app that I will be using, for sure. And you can bet that the app is going to be filled with awesome delightfulness and wonderful attention to detail as my other projects!

I'm not ready to reveal it just yet, as I'm still deliberating on some key details. I might talk about the details in my next post.

Tech stack and setup

I wanted to change around my tech stack from the previous hackathon, so I've decided to go with the following:

• Gatsby - React, Redux, Typescript, Emotion.js, etc.
• Firebase - backend

And we have liftoff! Nothing much to see, but this is just a start!
