Tesla's Cybertruck makes its debut as a museum exhibit

The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles reopened its doors on June 19 and visitors were treated to an up-close taste of our electric car future.

Tesla's Cybertruck is on display at the museum for a full week, until June 27. And while you'll probably be tackled and arrested if you try to hit it with a sledgehammer, it's set up in a public space that allows for closer looks than most people on the planet have been able to get at this point.

The Cybertruck's presence ties into the museum's ongoing "Alternating Currents" exhibit, which explores "the fall and rise of electric vehicles." In addition to the Cybertruck, visitors can also check out Tesla's Model S prototype as well as a Roadster. Read more...
