Absurdist literature for kids? I can not remember a time when I was not a huge fan of Daniel Pinkwater's incredible storytelling... and 'the Snarkout Boys' stories are my favorite.

Snarking Out, or the practice of making late-night pilgrimages to a third-rate theater showing fifth-rate movies at the end of their projectable lifespan, has always sounded like the best idea. A lot of interesting folks do it.
